George Washington earned the title of "The Father of Our Country" not only through his prestigious position as an estate owner, but also through his work as politician, President and ambassador for the developing United States of America. His integrity and dedication to duty was perhaps only surpassed by his love of his country. Furthermore, many people attribute this title to Washington because of his election as the first President.
Certainly, George Washington's tricorner hat must have had more than three corners as he was held in esteem by many for his diverse responsibilities. His well-proven leadership abilities and his deep patriotism gained him much respect from the emerging political leaders, our country's forefathers.
